The Pathfinder, a company based in Norfolk in the United kingdom has made its latest invention known as Beepers to the public.
Since the coronavirus pandemic broke out the company has received thousands of concern about keeping workers safe in the office, this is why Pathfindr has now entirely switched its production to focus on Beepers.
The company Chief Technical Officer Ben Sturgess told reporters :”it’s very simple to use. You wear it round your neck, on a belt or in your pocket and it pings out a signal constantly at a rate of about two beeps per second.
“If there are any other device nearby it sends the message back, calculating how far that other person is away, and if you are within two metres it emits an audible beep”.
He said, “customers would wear them while in the building, office to keep social distant from other customers and staff, and them hand them back at the end of their visit or work to be sterilized and used again”.
With hundred units already sold out, more purchase orders awaits manufacturers.
